,The Omniscient Narrator - What our character doesn't see *****
When you write in the Omniscient, you become one of the gods, that figure sitting in the clouds who knows all, and sees all, and fills his/her readers with the awe and wonderment of the rich detail that rounds out our characters. For instance, you might write that: "It was more than generosity that directed Cameron to dole out a dollar each morning to the homeless panhandler at the traffic stop. indeed, he felt obliged, obligated if you will, to fulfill this daily contract."
This bit of information is not something that Cameron would have been forthcoming with and would have probably not said aloud, or shared with his audience, yet it portrays something more, something deeper, of our character. It helps us to understand there is something more to Cameron's character than meets the eyes. .And, it is the omniscient narrator who possesses this quality that allows for the inclusion of these bits and pieces of the character's backstory that helps us understand his motives for what he does.
